Always good for a special meal. We come birthdays and anniversaries. Great restaurant, lovely staff and great food. Highly recommended.

Lovely family birthday meal. Fixed menu pre ordered, all courses arrived on time and were delicious. Lovely place and staff. Own car park with lots of room. Lovely building and decor. Would recommend. I had the steak and it was delicious. Kids menu available with lots of choice and quality options.

The food is amazing! Service was a little slow towards the end of the meal even though is was very empty by this point. And it was far too hot in there again. Worth going but dress for a summmers day!

Great ambience,excellent food and efficient staff. Compared to other eating places this is top class.My only minor criticism was the small amount of mince meat in the mince pies,hence the score of 4

We booked for a family lunch for 26 to celebrate our recent Wedding, the room was a bit tight for us for predinner drinks but apart from that it was fantastic, lovely setting, great food, FAB service! Thank you!!

Heard about Perkins over the years. Never been. Finally booked for a family birthday. Wow. Unpretentious very fine dining. Lovely staff. One of those places where you just want to eat every single dish reading the menu. Sadly I could only order a starter, main and dessert, but all were first class. And all the mains round the table looked great, but my pork three ways was immense.Treat yourself to Nottingham's Castle Gate gin too. Only blemish was a terrible flat white to finish. Twice as big and a third as strong as it should be, with no real foam let alone any hint of artistic patterns. If they're reading this, up your game with the coffee and you'll be perfect!

Was a guest at Mel and Glen’s wedding. The food at the reception was excellent, I have not experienced another reception where the food was so good. Will certainly return to sample the rest of the menu.

Superb breakfast. Beautiful location. Excellent service and not rushed at all which led to us having a very relaxed breakfast. The food was very nicely presented. I highly recommend you go here.

Had lunch from the a la carte menu which was absolutely delicious. My duck main dish was great. Our party of 6 all loved the food and had a great time. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Recommended.

A converted railway station that makes for a great resteraunt, classy but not fussy, very nice food but not over expensive. This venue gets a big thumbs up from me, well worth a visit.

Only had time to stay for a pint and some home smoked bar nuts. Very friendly staff, great beer. Great nuts.The food looked delicious, Can't wait to try some.

A little disappointed at our afternoon tea, staff helpful with the booking and dietary needs well catered for but on arrival we were seated in amongst people having lunch and thought there would be more of a "tea area" . Cakes rather ordinary and no one came to see if everything ok during the tea. We had to ask for my pot of tea as I had a glass of prosecco first and no attention to who needed a top up or anything. Afternoon tea should be delivered as an experience not just another meal. For a birthday treat it fell rather short. The place was clean.

Wonderful upclass meal in a comfortable historic setting. Many options for all tastes. Great location for a special meal or a needed night off.

Went with a group of friends for my 60th birthday..felt we were rushed by not only that some of the food was cold and my main of chicken ballotine was not nice at all..not impressed

Lovely expense here for my birthday last year. Been meaning to go again and we will when we find the time. Great food and very reasonable on price.

I have been here several times and it really is going from strength to strength. The Menu was varied and interesting with improved ways of presentation and taste. The Staff are very welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. We enjoyed a very relaxed and informal meal with time allowed for digestion and conversation. The wines were well chosen and tasty. Altogether a very enjoyable celebratory Birthday lunch.

A lovely evening in a really nice venue. We enjoyed the 6 course Taste the Season menu for £26 each. Staff were attentive and friendly. Would happily return and would also recommend this restaurant.

My girlfriend and I had a superb lunch today as a walk in. we were initially told the place was fully booked (for good reason) but the waitress Ellie kindly sorted out a table for us. The food was outstanding (honestly outstanding!), very reasonably priced considering and all the staff who served us were brilliant. A really great setting and decor adds to the atmosphere and we will certainly be visiting again (and booking). Faultless. A real gem. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Quality food, quality chefs, quality staff

Went for a friend's birthday meal Saturday night. Despite us being a loud group of 13 the staff were awesome and atentative. The food quality was amazing and everyone commented on how good the food was from the duck breast, steak, and even cod. Highly recommended.
